Notes: May have been purchased directly from artist. Letter from Cincinnati Art Galleries notes that "Mr. Stevenson was the chief ceramist at Harshaw Chemical Company of Elyria, Ohio, a major manufacturer of glaze colors. Mr. Stevenson was often called upon to troubleshoot problems at Harshaw accounts, among them Cowan Pottery in Rocky River, Ohio, where he became acquainted with Schreckengost and his work."
