The black and white photograph shows a woman and child looking out of an open window in a brick building. The window is in the upper left corner. The child is on the left, both hands rest on the window sill. The woman is resting her arms on the window sill, she is looking to the left. There is a door in the right corner, an iron railing runs out from the building and down the steps in the lower right corner. The top of another window is visible in the lower left edge of the image.
