The photograph shows a group of four boys standing in front of a window. All the boys are wearing shorts and jackets. The boy on the left is in profile facing right with his hands in his pockets. A boy in the center is looking at a crumpled sheet of newspaper. Behind him another boy is partially seen, looking to the left. The boy on the right is looking slightly down to the left, his hands are in his pockets. Three of the boys are also wearing knee high socks. The window behind the boys is lined with posters along the sill.
