Technical Observations: The patina is green and black with areas of red and brown. The vessel has been reformed from a partially flattened state. The interior surfaces are obscured by a painted resin and fiberglass cloth lining. Filled and inpainted cracks and losses are present on the exterior of the body. The dome base appears undamaged.

The object was raised from a bronze sheet and further decorated with incised lines, punch work, and repoussé. Traces of gilding can be found on the figural areas and upper and lower banding. These include the man-goat’s horn and raised front hoof, as well as the eye, stomach, and other areas of one of the human figures.
