The woman is facing away from the viewer, her hair up in a white and red striped cloth. A bunched mass od white cloth is wrapped around her left arm, and a white and red slipper lays on the floor near her right foot. A column stands in the foreground on the left of the image, a dark curtain with ornamented edging hanging over it partially.
