The image for this drawing is black and white. A girl is pictured from the shoulders up. She faces the viewer directly. She has very large, wide-set eyes, a prominent, straight nose, and full lips. Her hair is parted in the center and flows behind her shoulders. Her shoulders and chest are circled by a light-colored drape. Flowers rest on the drape near her neck. The strokes of the drawing are light and diffuse, giving the portrait a soft-focus effect.
