Description
In the foreground two men are cooking over campfires; a third, sitting at the left, is rearranging his lace ruff; a group of bewigged officers are gathered in elegant poses about a table in a tent at the right; in the center middle distance a troop of soldiers heralded by trumpeters marches toward the walled city on a river peninsula in the upper middle distance; various cities and towns at the upper left border the broad river.
