The drawing in graphite on white paper depicts a woman standing in three quarters with a boy. The woman stands center-page, her gaze directed at the viewer. Her right arm leans on a mantle, her left hand before her holding the boy’s left hand. She wears a long, fringed dress, with a shawl draped over her shoulders and left arm. There is an upholstered chair behind her draped with a long cloth. The boy in long dress on her right holds her hand, looking to the left. There is a fruit in the boy’s right hand.
