An aristocratic woman whips a young man kneeling with his back exposed.

In this black ink drawing, an aristocratic woman wears a shoulder-less gown, which she appears to be holding up with her right hand. In her left hand, she holds up a small whip, and is about to strike a young man who kneels alongside her with his back exposed. Behind them both is a plain mantlepiece and candelabrum, placing this scene in a residential interior.
