1947.20: Mounted Jockey
DrawingsIn the upper left quadrant of a printed page taken from a book, beneath a line of printed text, quick lines in graphite depict a rider in jockey’s silks mounted on a horse. Horse and rider are shown in profile facing left and looking ahead as the horse begins to rear up on its hind legs. The horse’s head bows down as Its forelegs are raised in the air. The right half of the page contains a block of text in French which runs sideways from top to bottom. The lower left quadrant contains a single line of text and a red stamped mark.
