A drawing of two women shaking hands beneath a pediment.

The drawing in graphite on tracing paper depicts a circular icon of two women shaking hands beneath a pediment and blue sky. On the left is a woman standing in profile facing the right of the page. She wears a long, sleeveless draped garment and a crown. In her left hand she grasps a tall staff, and her right hand grasps the left hand of the woman on page right. The woman on page right stands in three quarters facing the left of the page. She wears a long draped garment with a hooded shawl over her head, and holds a tall ornamental cross in her left hand against her shoulder. Behind the women is a decorated pediment and frieze, under which is an ornate altar with an infant motif. To either side of the pediment are flame-topped columns.
