A drawing of a nude man picking up a stone.

The drawing in graphite on white paper depicts a nude man leaning to the ground to pick up a stone. The man’s stance is wide, his right leg stretched behind him to the left of the page. His torso is stooped over his bent left knee, his right arm curled toward his left shoulder, his left arm outstretched to reach a stone to the bottom right of the page. His face is turned behind him to the left of the page, fixed in a glaring expression. There are a number of suggested renderings of different arm positions drawn outward from the subject’s shoulders. There is a suggestion of a grid drawn over the figure.
