Description
Rebecca stands at the left, her left hand on the rim of the well, her right holding the rope of the paul from which Eleazer drinks, her left foot is crossed over her right and she looks towards the left; Eleazer, his staff resting upon a trough, crouches in front of the well, drinking; figures peer from behind the trees at the right and a camel regards the scene; at the left, women come to and from the fountain; a mountain range is visible in the background.
