Descriptions

Description

The composition divided diagonally in half from upper left to lower right by a seated figure of Charity, who faces three-quarters to the right with a child on her lap; two others play at her feet, and one sleeps at her right side just beneath her right arm; a landscape is lightly indicated in the background.
