A seated woman in three quarter profile

On off white paper, thin graphite lines describe a seated young woman in three quarter profile facing left. She leans back to the right into her chair, holding an open book in her lap. She gazes away to the left, her hair up and tightly braided in back and a small earring visible in her right ear. Her dress has a high collar, long sleeves and a full skirt that billows in front of her. Shading indicates a light shadow behind her head while space behind her chair at right and in front of her at left is left blank.
