A scenic park landscape of old trees, fountain, and small groups of people gathered.

The monochromatic drawing depicts a group of women in long dresses, bottom right of center. Two bend over a wash basin, lifting garments, the other two are standing and talking, one pointing right, a boy behind the other. A stone basin, looking like a displaced fountain section, rests to the right. A large water fountain on left spews a tall stream of water straight up, two women gathered there, with backs toward us. Pine or poplar trees encircle half the fountain, an old tree leans from the right. A wall with steps and lion is faintly drawn in the background.
