1977.94: Girl Walking Through Doorway
DrawingsA young girl steps into a darkened doorway with her back turned to the viewer. A pleated, white skirt peeks out from under the girl’s long-sleeved coat. Two pigtails fall down her back, cinched with light-colored ribbons. Her feet (clad in dark, shiny shoes) stand both inside and outside of the doorway with her left foot sitting atop a scrunched up piece of fabric. Her left hand rests upon an adjoining door or doorframe, while her right is lost into the darkness of the interior. These features suggest the doorway may belong to a closet or wardrobe.
