Descriptions Description Saint Luke is shown standing with his left elbow resting on the head of an ox (his attribute). He is wrapped in a cloak and holds a long staff in his right hand. He is represented as an extremely tall man, looking intently to his right, head lowered, and leaning his body in the same direction. He has wavy hair, a mustache, and a beard.
