1895.212: Jug
VesselsA small, opaque glass jug is made with blue-green glass showing brownish-gold staining or dirt accretions, especially on the body of the jug. The shape is spherical and slightly flattened on the top and bottom. The neck is narrow and about as tall as the body. The mouth is flat with a slight indentation or chip on the edge. The handle is wide where it attaches to the body and narrows as it reaches the neck. The glass at the base of the handle is opaque. There is a small rectangular wedge of glass added to the handle where the thumb would rest.
