Descriptions
- Description
- Reproduction of a gold ornamental disc with three concentric circles along the border and with decorative spirals and concentric circles within the border. The original was found in Grave Circle A at Mycenae. Similar to object number 1901.18.
- Commentary
- The actual function of the discs is unclear. They were found under, above, and around the bodies in the burial. Schliemann believed these discs represented miniature copies of shields.
