Descriptions

Description
Wheel made lamp. Flat, unglazed base. Walls curve out tightly from base and lean slightly inward. Rim slopes moderately upward. Large, round filling hole. Very long, beak-like nozzle with open channel connecting filling hole and nozzle tip. Nozzle tip slightly squared. Ring handle springs from base and attaches at rim. Triangular vegetal handle ornament projects from top of handle.

Buff fabric with vitreous blue-green glaze. Some irridescence. Charring at tip of nozzle. Nozzle, broken at reservoir, has been reattached. Chipping on underside of nozzle, on handle, and on handle ornament.
