Drips of glaze are visible on the interior of the neck. Although the exterior glaze has faded substantially, the interior drips retain bright patches of the original blue-green glaze. The interior ledge of the rim is indented, perhaps to facilitate pouring. The rim is surrounded by raised points. Additional raised points are set around the shoulder of the jug. The foot and ring base are largely unglazed. Verification Level This record was created from historic documentation and may not have been reviewed by a curator; it may be inaccurate or incomplete.
