Made of relatively fine, micaceous, light brown clay, the jar has reddish-brown painted decoration. Diagonally applied brushstrokes are framed above and below by a horizontal band and a line; the horizontal strokes appear to have been applied on the wheel. A painted line also encircles the vessel rim. Apart from a few chips and a small loss at the shoulder, the vessel is complete.
