Description
Cypro-Geometric I-II. Ovoid body, wide neck, small flaring off-set foot. On central and lower part of body, fluted surface covered with black slip. Shoulder, neck, and handles reserved. Designs in dull black. On neck, vertical bands of parallel lines enclosing latticed lozenges at center, chevrons at each side; bands around rim inside and outside; ladder pattern on lip; wavy lines on handles; black band and ridge at junction of neck and shoulder. Five horizontal incised grooves encircling lower portion of shoulder. Very definite foot with narrow stem, covered with black.
