- Description
- Tapestry band with buff central strip and red borders. Main portion of the band has abstract floral decoration, with round red flowers alternating with serrated pairs of leaves. Borders contain a scrolling yellow vine with blue and green heart shaped leaves outlined in white. Plain woven, undyed linen ground visible on edges of tapestry woven band. This plain-woven ground is marked by several self-bands. The wefts of the tapestry portion are wool (dark blue, light blue, buff, yellow, peach, green, and red). Warps are paired in the tapestry portion.
