Descriptions
- Description
- Shallow pilaster, heavily worn, decorated in relief with stylized acanthus leaves. Central acanthus leaf extends up and out to form corner volutes which support the abacus. On either side of this, an acanthus leaf curves outward to form the outline of the capital's echinus shape.
