The exterior of this opaque blue-green glazed faience amphora has several darkened patches on the surface. The spherical body rests on a short base and has a slimmer, short neck that turns into a flat, wide lip. There are two symmetrical ribbon handles that rest of the shoulder and attach at the top under the lip. The upper half of the body is decorated with curling, etched lines that resemble tendrils of a plant. There are three small holes or punctures in the center. The lower half is etched with a horizontal rope pattern and an arched, brick-like design.
