Davis Pratt obtained this photograph (as well as four others Mina Turner gave to the Fogg Art Museum in 1973) for acquisition consideration from Peter Bunnell, who while still at the Museum of Modern Art was apparently helping the estate's heirs disperse the photographs among various museum collections (see correspondence in the artist's file).
