P1982.107: Untitled
PhotographsA box truck in profile occupies the middle of this black and white photograph. On a city street with tightly packed houses, the truck sits parked in front of another car on a narrow sidewalk, one front wheel jutting off the curb, into the street. The side wall of the box truck shows a trompe l'oeil mural that mimics the back of the cab of the truck at one end, and a deck of a house at the other, situated on the floor of its flatbed. From the open flatbed, a view opens up of a landscape of rolling hills and mountains.
