PhotographsThe black and white photograph is printed as a photographic negative, light spaces are dark, dark spaces are light. In the center foreground is a man facing the viewer, his mouth hangs open, he is looking at the viewer. His face is black his hair is light, his tie is white his shirt and coat are dark. Behind him to the left is an older man, his face is black, his hair is light. In the upper right corner is a woman wearing a veil holding a bouquet of flowers, she is dark with light highlights. There is a band of text across the picture plane titled My Son and I, the text is printed in reverse.
