G5727: Chelsea Bridge and Church
PrintsThree boats sit on a shore at foreground left. The one closest to the viewer is smaller than the others. A tall, dark, crooked post is positioned between the other two boats. A large, smooth body of water occupies the right side of the image. A small sailboat floats on it with its sail reflected in the water. In the right background is a sloping bridge over the water. To the left is a shoreline with tall, crowded buildings. Silhouetted birds fly above the scene. The darker portions of this print are heavily cross-hatched, giving it a sketchy, textured quality.
