Christ inside a temple raises a fistful of chords to lash a crowd of merchants who rapidly exit left.

The large group of merchants grab their belongings as a barrel and table with coins on it overturns in the foreground. It’s a dramatic scene, many people are drawn diagonally leaning away towards the left. A cow in disarray runs in the middle ground, dragging a man on his back who’s trying to hold onto its lead, as a small dog barks behind Christ. In the upper right background, a gathering of temple priests and others watch the action. Light enters from the upper right, illuminating Christ’s back and the man before him. Light also emanates from Christ’s raised hand.
