G8714: Miss May Belfort
PrintsSoft gray lines depict a woman singing as two other figures look on, one of whom plays a piano. The woman stands in the middle, her head tilted back and her eyes closed, and her mouth is open as if singing. She dark hair and wears a white dress with large puffy shoulders. In her left hand she holds a small black kitten with wide eyes and she holds her right hand behind her. In the foreground, a man in shadow sits playing at a piano. Next to him, at lower right, we are looking over the partially visible head of a man wearing glasses.
