M13498: Frontispiece
PrintsOlive colored lines and spattered shading with touches of color on off white paper show a scene in which a woman is combing her hair. She faces away from the viewer, wearing a blue floor-length loose gown with a ruffled lacy collar. She pulls a comb through her long yellow hair with her left hand, and holds her hair up and away with her right. Just beyond her, clothes are piled in a heap on a bed. In the foreground, a top hat sits on a stand with a white shirt draped over it. At top left, the hand lettered words, “ELLES par” are printed in olive green.
