M3572: Lender Dancing the Bolero in "Chilpéric"
PrintsLight shading and faintly sketched lines on cream colored paper depict a woman in profile. She appears to be dancing, arching her back and casting a look above and behind her as she steps forward. Her hands are raised in front of her, pointing downward and snapping castanets that she holds in her fingers. She wears a hat with plumage and a large flower, and an ornate dress with a high lacy collar. Two dancers costumed like medieval courtiers stand looking on from the side.
