An older man in a checked suit in profile, walking to the right

Quick fluid black lines describe a heavy-set figure against mostly blank white space. We see a man in profile stepping toward the right, a Derby hat tilting forward over his eyes. He tucks his bearded chin into his neck and smiles as he looks ahead, a shadow on his bulbous nose. The lower buttons on his checked coat are undone and he walks with a cane held in his right hand. A shadow, or a dark shape is indicated by dark gray shading just above and behind his shoulder.
