A man wearing a scarf and a large hat stands in a doorway.

Forceful, inky black lines and dark shading depict a man standing in a doorway with a darkened room behind him. Shown from the waist up, he is turned slightly left, but regards the viewer from the corner of his eye. His eyebrows arch slightly and his mouth is turned down at the corner. His right arm extends upward, against the side of the doorway, and his other arm is at his side, with his hand possibly in his front pocket. He wears a heavy overcoat, a white scarf and a black wide brimmed hat.
