M12206: La troupe de Mlle Eglantine
PrintsDark black fluid lines on a gray shaded background depict a group of four women in elaborate hats and frilly dresses dancing in a line on a wooden stage. The women each have one leg raised, bent at the knee, kicking in unison while ruffling their petticoats. They are all facing left in three quarter profile, and all wear light colored dresses and black stockings and black high heeled shoes. The woman at extreme right appears to scowl slightly as the next two glance at her. At left, the fourth woman kicks her leg at a different angle, with a distressed expression on her face.
