At center right we see a woman shown from the waist up, facing left, but tilting her head straight back, her mouth opened to sing. Her gown has a low cut neck and ruffled shoulders and she holds her hands low in front of her, wearing arm length gloves shaded a soft gray. A low flat object below her is possibly a stage light. Slanting upward from the center, the handwritten name “Yvette Guilbert” appears next to the woman on the page.
