M20455: Landscape, Remarque: Bat
PrintsThis tan-toned landscape centers around a long, straight channel of water that extends away from the viewer toward the horizon. Each of its banks has a narrow walking path, and two figures walk along the right side. The ground rises away from both sides of the channel. Trees line each side. The light appears to come from near the horizon, suggesting the sun is low in the sky. The trees are backlit and reflected in the smooth surface of the water. Below the print is a small pencil drawing of a bat with outstretched wings.
