A crowd of infirm people dressed in ancient robes gather around a standing man who looks out toward the left.

The man (Christ) stands in the center with arms open extending out his right arm toward the people and raising up his left in a benediction gesture. Half the crowd on the right is kneeling, some reclining, one person rests in a wheeled cart. Those on the left are standing, most look toward Christ as light emanates from him. The etching is drawn with deeper shadows on the right. A few animals are also depicted in the crowd such as a dog lying down on the left, and a cow in the deep shadows on right.
