M20444: The Ascension of Christ
PrintsA man is suspended in the air with outstretched arms. The viewer’s perspective places them below the man, so that his feet and legs appear closest, and his body is intensely foreshortened. The man has long curly hair and a beard. His eyes gaze up. His robe billows around his body. Rays surround him in a circle, and a ring of clouds surrounds the scene. Several winged cherub faces peek from the clouds. There is a small inscription near the bottom center.
