M14043: The Tombstone of Pompey Brenton, a Slave, Newport, Rhode Island, 1772
PrintsThe print shows a half-moon shaped tombstone decoration. The image is printed in shades of brown. The central figure has intricately curled hair, large eyes and a rounded face. The border separates the center image from a border of curlicued shapes along the outer rim.
