A black and white print portrays a battle between men riding horses and elephants.

In the foreground of this black and white print, four horses charge forward with soldiers on their backs. Soldiers on the ground wear metal plumed helmets, carry shields, and brandish large swords and spears. A group of soldiers in front of them carry firebrands, and many have their mouths open suggesting they are shouting or calling out. Members of this group carry flags bearing the insignia SPQR. In the middle of the scene, coming in the opposite direction, are four elephants with large wooden crates on their backs for carrying soldiers. These soldiers hurl rocks and spears, use bows and arrows, and wear turbans. Along the lower edge of the scene are inscriptions.
