- inscription: JWR:"I know not Guillemot unless it be David's pupil Guillemont. N.; van Westerhout- Audenaerd- Dorigni. Schuler and Toschi have all engraved this piece; Nagler knows him not but Gabet says N Guillemot was a Hist & Portr P. and names various of his works, exhibited from 1814 to 1827. He obtained Honorable mention from the Acad. in 1807 and the First Greatprize for Painting, and a Gold medal of the first class in 1819; Daniel Ricciarelli"
