- inscription: The monogram of the artist is followed by a date that appears to be 1753, but this is manifestly impossible given the association of the subject with Runciman's painting cycle.

- Commentary
- This impression is on old wove paper, which is not like the laid china paper used for the publication of the print in the 1820s. Presumably this is a late 18th c. impression.
