587.1928: Freshman Singing Cup
VesselsThe silver and gilt chalice has a raised band decorated with precious and semi-precious stones, there is a square with a design in enamel in the center. The stem of the chalice is hexagonal, with arched enameled designs on each side. The base is also hexagonal with raised design set in from the edge. The lid is decorated with a translucent bird, a silver snake coils around it. In the center of the body of the cup are engraved the words Christo et ecclesiae with the Harvard Veritas shield in the center.
