Provenance Recorded Ownership History Byzantine Institute, 1938, Sold to Fogg Art Museum. Holt made and painted these copies under the auspices of the Byzantine Institute, with funding and encouragement from the Fogg. At some point later, the Fogg bought them from the Institute.
