A metal plate with a relief carving of a man reading.

A green-gold colored rectangular metal plate with rounded corners. A man is depicted in light relief. He has very short hair and receding hairline, and a full short beard. He is seen from the side, looking down at a book that he holds open at chest level. He is arranged so that his shoulder, upper arm, elbow, and forearm line up with the right and bottom edges of the plate. He wears a suit and tie. There are symbols or letters etched in two lines at his shoulder in the negative space, but they cannot be clearly read.
