A high contrast black and white photograph shows a wall with three horizontal rows of small wooden tools used for modeling clay. Flush against the wall, they hang vertically in the loops of a wall mounted rack, with the longest ones in the top row, and smaller tools below. In the foreground, just in front of the wall, we are looking down at the surface of a table. On it is a large inky black square in the middle of which is a large flat fish with a narrow tail at left, and a face obscured in shadow at right.
